Olive's Blanket but Mustard

I knew I was going to make this as soon as I saw it.

I also knew that mustard was going to be a main color.
Mainly, because I heart Mustard and a good friend, namely Natalie, had a wonderful gram that was giving up some yarn.

By some, I mean, a LOT of yarn.  Luckily...I was able to snag some.  Again, by some, I mean 4 boxes full, and I felt bad about taking that much, but I barely dented it.
Now, what to do with it?

Dottie Angel has a pattern here!
Pinned here.

1 Sheep

It would be so magical to have 100 of these.
I would snuggle down with them and count them whilst drifting off to sleep.

Yeah, I could make that happen.

Bears, Pigs and Elephants...oh my.

First attempts at crocheting animals.
My grandma gave me a box load of old crochet patterns from the 80s.
It's pretty awesome.
From time to time i crochet.
or maybe all the time.

*Ignore my foot and the wires...think of it as a true road trip craft, because that's mainly when i do it. Long road trips are very hard for me, unless I crochet.

Potholder

I'll admit, i made it rather large.

The husband calls this my "Potholder."
So it doubles as a potholder or headband.
It's a good thing I like to cook.

winnnie

A couple years ago, my grannie from Iowa gave me crochet magazine from 1980-1991ish.  I've found soooooo many cute patterns.  They make awesome baby gifts!  (also, many of my crochet projects are done in the car, so the pictures probably won't always be great)

I also go to raverly.com and pinterest.com (see my board here) for other crochet inspirations.

(prounounced crotch-eh-ter)

When these headbands were all new and exciting, I thought "I could make that."   But you see, I am not a knitter, oh no, I am a crocheter (prounounced crotch-eh-ter) as the husband puts it.

Here you have it.
