A couple years ago, my grannie from Iowa gave me crochet magazine from 1980-1991ish.  I've found soooooo many cute patterns.  They make awesome baby gifts!  (also, many of my crochet projects are done in the car, so the pictures probably won't always be great)

I also go to raverly.com and pinterest.com (see my board here) for other crochet inspirations.

Asian relative

My asian side really shows sometimes.  

I was looking back to the days of uber long hair.

Sigh. 

Sew tough

I find that sewing is not my thing.

Unless it's a super easy pattern like below. 

In which, I only did two. 

But, nonetheless, it was an easy two.

She has beautiful patterns and designs, which I couldn't use.

They are a little pricey for thrifty me.  

Glassy beaded idea

Last year, Hali went to Ghana.

I sent her with some money and said "Go, find me awesome."

Well, I still have the awesome beads, but I need an idea. I did make a "W" out of some of the flat beads. 

What to do with the rest?

I'm not my young self anymore, who can wear 50 pounds of necklace.

Any thoughts?

Meet the twins
